About Our Association
The Monterey Park Community Association is run by dedicated
volunteers who work to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood.
Community History
Monterey Park was established in the early 1990s as part of Calgary’s northeast expansion. Named after the scenic Monterey Peninsula, the community was developed to provide affordable, family-friendly housing in a welcoming neighborhood.
The Monterey Park Community Association was formed by residents who wanted to create a vibrant, connected neighborhood. Over the years, the association has organized hundreds of events, advocated for infrastructure improvements, and built a tight-knit community of over 5,000 residents.
Our Mission
To foster a safe, inclusive, and vibrant community where all residents of Monterey Park can connect, thrive, and take pride in their neighborhood.
Our Vision
A connected, engaged, and welcoming community where every resident feels at home.
Our Values
Inclusivity, respect, transparency, and sustainability in everything we do for the residents of Monterey Park.
