Large Hall (Gymnasium)

Our largest room is perfect to rent for sporting groups, large family gathering, weddings, birthday parties, memorial services, cultural events and large business seminars.

Direct access and use of kitchen and bar areas. (Conditions apply)  Main floor location.

Seating capacity of 240

Daytime hourly rental rate:  $85.00 + GST. (4 hour minimum rental)

Full Day rental:  $500.00 + GST (Up to 8 hour rental 8AM - 4PM)

Evening Rental:  $700 + GST (Rental beginning @ 4PM ending by 2AM)

Small Hall

Perfect for small gatherings, with a seating capacity of 60, this room also has direct access and use of the kitchen area, but not the bar.  Main floor location.  Because this room is home to our community child care program, hours of availability and decorating options of this room are limited.

Hourly rental rate:  $50.00 + GST

Upper Hall (Mezzanine)

Located upstairs, this room is perfect for small social gatherings....card groups, yoga, book clubs.....

This room has no handicap access and has no access to a kitchen or bar area.

Hourly rental rate:  $40.00 + GST

Booking Notes

All bookings require a damage deposit to secure your rental.  Renters must allow and budget for set up and clean up time to fall within rental times.

Rental periods may be extended based on availability.

All rentals include use of folding chairs and 8' banquet tables.  MPCA staff will be onhand throughout your booking. 

Additional services, such as room set up and tear down or bartending services  are available at an addition cost.

Rental Rate:

$750.00 plus GST (to be paid 30 days prior to function date)

Damage deposit: $750.00 (to be paid 10 business days prior to function date and is returned 10 business days after function)

Deposit to hold the date at time of booking: $200.00 (applied to damage deposit, non refundable if function is cancelled)or the damage deposit

Includes:

? Supervisor(s) on site at all times during the function

? Rental Time: 5:00 pm to 2:00 am or ( all clean up must be completed by 2am )

? Use of the gymnasium and kitchen (for warming only)

? Use of all tables ,chairs, stages and kitchen

Extra Hours & Hourly Rates (as permitted and dependant on other bookings):

$50.00 per hour for set-up and decorating only

$95.00 per additional hour that is not for set up or decorating

Optional Services

Bar Service

? Renter must supply all alcohol & special events liquor license

? Renter must use Monterey Park Comm. Bartenders at a rate of $25.00/hour

Set up/take down and cleaning:

Set up fee: $125.00 includes table and chairs only - no table coverings or centerpieces/Opt out, need to supply own garbage bags, plus if a mess is made where it takes Monterey staff several hours to clean, we will charge $95.00 per hour which will come off the damage deposit.

Set up/Take down and Hall Clean up: $250.00 plus GST (Renters must remove center pieces & tables coverings & all decorations they brought into the building)

Dish Rental:

Dish Rental: $2.00 per person (includes: 1 dinner plate, 1 side plate, utensils, water glass and either a wine glass or a coffee cup)

Bus Person: $125.00 for the evening

Portable PA system:
$200 plus an additional $500 damage deposit
